Most of our outerwear clients find us after having been told by numerous “bespoke” and MTM tailors that what they are asking for is “impossible.” That it simply isn’t done.

To do the kind of work that we do, you need to have someone who will sit down and design it for you—with a pencil and paper.
Someone who will discuss every possibility and drawback, whether to make it warmer, or whether you want it less bulky,—-whether the desire for a luxurious handfeel is paramount, or whether you are looking for a piece that you can wear 150 days a year—-for the next 50 years.
You need someone who will draft a custom pattern that is just exactly what you want, where you choose the lapels, the pockets, the cut, length, and so on and so on.
And finally, you need to have a genuine craftsperson to cut and sew the piece,—-someone smart with many years of experience who understands the process of coat making from beginning to end—-because an assembly line can’t possibly work when one piece is horsehide and the next cashmere, when one piece is a bomber and the next a great coat with capes and a vent.
