It is slightly iridescent, a superfine wool with a bit of a gleam to it–a sharkskin fabric.
The pattern was inspired by the Mad Men craze that has been sending guys out in search of a bit of early sixties style, and this fabric was perfect for the Don Draper look.
The jacket is long with two buttons (slightly contrasting sky-blue and black faux-horn) and is lined in bright lime green satin. The trousers are our standard modern flat front pants with no cuff and a relatively low rise.
An extra 60’s touch is the breast pocket which runs straight across.
With each of our suits, you can pretty much pick any type of style historical or modern, and we will work with it and turn it into a piece that works today in the setting that you want it for—for weddings, for work, or party attire.
